The Otwócki Half Marathon is set to take place on October 18, 2026, inviting runners of all ages to explore the scenic Mazowiecka Landscape Park. The race starts at the intersection of Lesna Street and Hrabiego Gerkwazego in Otwoczk, offering participants a picturesque route through lush forests.
The event features several categories designed for both seasoned athletes and young enthusiasts:
- Children's Races: Starting at 10:00 AM, these races cater to different age groups with distances ranging from 150 meters for the youngest runners (6 years old and under) up to 1500 meters for teenagers aged 13 to 14. The event encourages family participation by providing a friendly environment where children can showcase their running skills.
- Half Marathon: At noon, participants will embark on a challenging 21-kilometer course through the heart of Otwócki's forested areas. This race is ideal for runners looking to push themselves while enjoying the natural beauty around them.
- Nordic Walking and 5km Run: Just after the half marathon begins at 12:05 PM, Nordic walkers and shorter-distance runners will start their own 5-kilometer routes through the same scenic trails. This event offers a versatile experience for those interested in walking or running shorter distances.
Registration fees vary depending on whether you register before October 10, 2026 (PLN 60 plus PLN 30 for T-shirt) or on race day itself (PLN 100). For the children's races, registration costs PLN 15. Payments should be made to the bank account of Uczniowski Klub Sportowy "Bieliki" with details provided in the event information.
Prizes and awards are given for top finishers across various categories including men’s and women’s open divisions for both half marathon and Nordic walking events, as well as cash prizes for first through third place winners in the open category of 21km races.
