About the Event

Welcome to the Viewpoint Endurance Challenge 24hr. 12hr. 6hr. 3hr.
From the beginner to the experienced runner, this is one event that everyone should do at least once. Participants get to enjoy a self-contained uninterrupted running environment that is safe and satisfying. With expansive views of the North Carolina Mountains, every participant will come away with lasting memories of the beauty that this course presents at every turn. Rolling trails, good footing, aid station support, great volunteers, and enjoying the experience with other runners makes for a fun day out on this course!

This will be self timed race! We will have a spreadsheet with lap keepers and a peg board for you to mark each lap completed.

The best part about our timed events format is that there are no DNF’s!!

You can sign up for any event of ours and go as far as you can within the time limit. You are not required to go full time limit. You are credited with your miles within the time period.

This 1.4 mile course consist of a 1 mile hard packed gravel loop and connects to a .4 mile asphalt loop. It is designed to allow you to go as far you can within any of our timed events. With an even give and take in elevation, of 118ft of gain and 100ft of loss per loop. You will pass by our main conference center with bathrooms and showers, the main aid station and ports John’s each loop! Never far from anything ya need!!

Canopy tents are allowed to be set up along the course in permitted areas. Allowing you to easily self support and for crew access.

Our Venue will be perfect to bring your entire family as the perfect getaway “run vacation”!! With on-site lodging, consisting of hotel rooms, bunk houses, RV park and tent camping.
