VIII Niepodległościowy Bieg Orła

The VIII Independence Eagle Run will take place on October 18, 2026, within the forested areas managed by Kłodno – Lipusz Forest District near Grabowo Parchowskie in Gmina Parchowo. The event blends athletic activity with recreation and community integration while promoting patriotism and appreciation for the natural beauty of the region.
The primary aim is to popularize physical activities such as running, Nordic Walking, and horse riding among people of all ages, fostering healthy competition within these communities. Additionally, it aims to highlight the patriotic values and scenic landscapes of Gmina Parchowo, Sulęczyno, Lipusz Gmina, and Nadleśnictwo Lipusz, including the Dendroglifo Godła Polski in Grabowo Parchowskie.
The event program begins at 10:00 AM with registration and packet pickup. At 11:00 AM, there will be an official opening ceremony followed by a group warm-up session. The running events start promptly at 11:30 AM for the 5 km race, while Nordic Walking kicks off shortly after at 11:35 AM also over 5 kilometers. Horse riding enthusiasts can participate in a 10-kilometer ride beginning at 11:45 AM, followed by a 10-km run starting at noon. The sporting portion concludes with the awarding of prizes and medals to participants who complete their respective races within regulation time.
The running routes are cross-country courses that wind through forest paths and roads as well as local thoroughfares. Participants have the option to compete in either the 5 km or 10 km race, though minors must obtain written parental consent for entry into any competition. A separate Nordic Walking course of 5 kilometers is also available.
The event fosters an inclusive atmosphere where every competitor who finishes within regulation time receives a commemorative medal. The top three male and female finishers in each distance category will be awarded prizes. There are additional contests with opportunities to win various souvenirs for participants. Each entrant’s package includes a race number, pins, and other memorabilia.
