Virginia's Blue Ridge GO Cross - UCI C1/C2 - USCX Series

About the Event

Virginia's Blue Ridge GO Cross, set to grace the 2025 UCI calendar and TREK USCX Series, invites racers of all levels from September 13 to 16 at Fallon Park. The park boasts a permanent cyclocross course that promises an exhilarating experience with its unique features: "Meg's Mountain," a long sand pit, planks, grassy sections, pavement stretches, and even a forced run up (stairs). This diverse terrain ensures no two races are alike.
For those eager to compete, online registration closes on September 22 at 8 p.m. Early birds get an advantage with discounts until September 9. Day-of registrations will incur an additional $10 fee. Unlicensed or first-time racers must purchase a One-Day license and register for either Category 5 (men/women) or the Juniors category (under 18). UCI Elite races require preregistration with a valid UCI license.
Fallon Park transforms into a vibrant event area, complete with Club Row. Teams can secure their spots here; reservations are essential as space is limited. Choose from 10x10 ($75) or 10x20 ($150) areas within the ABC zone for your team. These spots must be taken down overnight if high winds or severe weather threaten.
Tailgate games, a lounge pool area with ENO hammocks, and beer mile relays add to the fun. A crosstume contest and a Little Belgians race cater specifically to young racers under 9 years old. Food trucks will provide culinary delights throughout the weekend.
UCI events are staged by UCI points followed by a random draw. USAC events prioritize current USCX standings, crossresults.com rankings, or order of registration for pre-registered riders without a ranking. Day-of registrations follow an orderly sequence as well.
For those seeking overnight parking within the UCI team/rider lot, reservations are necessary and secured through Fallon Park's arrangements. Security personnel will ensure safety throughout.
Virginia's Blue Ridge GO Cross is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Roanoke, accessible via the Greenway. The event benefits greatly from partnerships with Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge, Fat Tire, Roanoke Outside Foundation, Carilion, Avis Construction, Trek Bicycle Roanoke, The Black Bibs, Roanoke Parks & Rec, Ropam Enterprises, Freedom First Credit Union, Atlantic Union Bank, and countless volunteers who contribute to making GO Cross a success.
