Thank you for joining us as a volunteer at the Festival Foods Turkey Trot, an annual Thanksgiving tradition that brings together runners and community members to celebrate the season. This year’s festival aims to make volunteering enjoyable and rewarding with diverse roles available both on Wednesday evening and Thanksgiving morning.
For those looking to step outside, opportunities like Corner Monitor or Pumpkin Pie Handout await. For a more sheltered experience, you can choose from tasks such as Registration or Packet Pick Up inside the Eau Claire YMCA. The event offers something for everyone, ensuring that volunteers find their perfect fit regardless of preference.
Volunteers who decide to brave the outdoors will be treated to a special gift just for them—making your contribution truly memorable. To ensure you’re well-prepared and ready to serve, please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled shift starts. This time allows ample opportunity to check in, collect your volunteer t-shirt, and get an overview of the tasks ahead.
Parking can be a challenge on Race Day with limited spots available at the YMCA lot. We strongly recommend carpooling or parking along nearby side streets to avoid congestion. Your efforts will not go unnoticed; all volunteers receive a complimentary Festival Foods Turkey Trot shirt as a token of our appreciation for your dedication and support.
