Wandering Wolves 50k/25k/12k

Running enthusiasts are invited to explore the scenic trails of Wyandotte County Lake Park for an unforgettable 50k, 25k, or 12k race. The event kicks off with the longest distance starting at 8am from Shelter 16, followed by a second wave at 9am featuring both shorter courses.
Shelter 16 is conveniently located near Shelter 14 and opposite the Archery Range/Dog Park, making it easy for participants to find their way. The race course offers runners an extensive tour of Kansas City's premier trail system, winding through lush landscapes on nearly all single-track paths in a large clockwise loop.
The terrain includes some rocks and roots but remains generally smooth and manageable without any bridle trails involved. At the finish line, expect hearty post-race fare from Whiskey River Pizza & Pub to celebrate your achievement with fellow runners.
