If you're new to mountain biking or haven't taken our Fundamentals Skills Session recently, we strongly recommend starting with this essential training before hitting the trails. This session covers critical skills and fundamentals that will enhance your riding experience. For those ready to take on more challenging terrain, we have several groups based on skill levels and fitness. The Fundamental Skills Session is a must for beginners or rusty riders, offering an introduction to mountain biking essentials over a 2-3 mile trail ride. Once you've mastered these basics, progress through the Fundamentals to Green Group, where you'll refine your skills with a brief refresher before tackling green trails. The Green Group caters to those who are comfortable on dirt paths and ready for more varied terrain. Here, you’ll find packed dirt trails interspersed with gentle rocks and roots, perfect for honing your balance and cornering techniques over 5-7 miles. For the adventurous at heart, our Open Group presents new challenges with diverse trail features and steep inclines. Ride leaders are present to guide each group, ensuring safety and enjoyment on Turkey Mountain’s unique trails. From packed dirt paths near Bomb Cellar to rocky sections of LoChi Connector, you’ll encounter a variety of terrains that will test your skills while rewarding you with breathtaking views.
