About the Event

Starting 8:00 AM on Sunday, August 30 from the northeast parking lot of the Western Beijing Ancient Trail Scenic Area museum in Mentougou District, Beijing, this hiking event offers 10K, 10K family (2- and 3-person), 5K, and 5K family (2- and 3-person) categories. Registration is first-come, first-served.
The route follows a thousand-year-old trade road past core historic sites -- the Niujiaoling pass fort, the horse-hoof hollows worn into stone by centuries of traffic, and the former home of Yuan-dynasty poet Ma Zhiyuan -- an autumn-only edition with wildflowers lining the entire trail.
