About the Event

Wild Gravel 2026 invites passionate volunteers to join its vibrant crew, transforming the Stirling Range into an exhilarating hub of cycling and trail running excitement. This community-driven event relies on dedicated individuals who bring it to life through their unwavering support.
Set amidst the breathtaking scenery of Western Australia’s Great Southern region, Wild Gravel transcends traditional race formats by fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants and volunteers alike. From bustling registration tents to cheering along challenging trails, each volunteer plays an integral role in creating memorable experiences for all involved.
Volunteer opportunities abound across various roles:
- Welcoming riders at the start line
- Directing traffic and managing parking areas
- Assisting with event setup and teardown
- Providing support from SAG wagons on course
- Serving as pit stop crew members or finish line assistants
No prior experience is required for most positions, and comprehensive training will be provided before the event. Volunteers can choose shifts that suit their availability throughout the weekend.
