Wild River Dash

About the Event

Join the Sixth Annual Wild River Dash hosted by Wild Hearts Idaho! This family-friendly, all ages, paddling and running duathlon race is all about having fun and celebrating women and everything outdoors! The course starts with a fun paddle out and back across Quinn’s Pond and ends with a beautiful 2-mile loop run on the Greenbelt. Register as an individual or as a relay team of two, with one person paddling and the other running. All proceeds from the race go directly towards breaking down transportation barriers for Wild Hearts Idaho's outdoor adventure programs, making sure every girl has safe and reliable transportation for every adventure! Fuel WHI's adventures by making a splash at the Wild River Dash! Be Wild, Go Wild!

Wild River Dash Information:

Time - 9:00am - 1:00pm. More information will be shared on your specific wave start time closer to race day!
- Pre-Race Announcement: 9:15am
- Kids Individual & Relay Teams: 9:30am
- Adult & Teen Individuals: 10:00am
- Adult & Teen Relay Teams: 10:15am
- Party till 1
Location - Esther Simplot Park.
Race Participant Age Groups - Adults 18+, Teens 12-17, Kids 5-11!
Packet pickup - Fleet Feet Meridian
Grab Your Swag Y’all! All race participants and volunteers will receive awesome swag.
Please be sure to have your personal kayaks, paddle boards or canoes properly tagged with an invasive species sticker.

Don't have a kayak, paddle board or canoe? Hydus Board Tech will have paddleboards on hand for you to use and demo or contact Idaho River Sports after you've registered for the race to reserve your FREE rental!

Adult and Teen Course: .5 mile Paddle across Quinn's Pond & 2 mile run on the Boise Greenbelt.
Kid Course: .25 mile Paddle in Quinn's Pond and 1 mile around the end of Quinn's Pond and back.
