Winona State Homecoming - Warrior Waddle

Join us for the exhilarating 16th Annual Winona State Homecoming Run on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The event kicks off at Lake Park Lodge with an early start time of 8:00 AM and offers a scenic 5K (3.1 mile) course around East Lake Winona.
Designed for both runners and walkers alike, this race promises to be flat and fast, allowing participants to enjoy the picturesque shoreline while pushing their personal limits. The route winds through serene landscapes, offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding parklands.
Registration is now open at $25 per person or $20 for students with a group rate available at $20 per individual when registering five or more members together. Pre-registration guarantees your shirt size until October 3rd, while race day registration begins promptly at 7:00 AM on the morning of the event.
Participants can also pick up their pre-registered packets from Friday, October 9th to Saturday, October 10th between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM at the American Legion located at 302 East Sarnia Street in Winona. Race day packet pickup takes place near the starting line at Lake Park Lodge.
Awards will be given for first and second-place finishers in each age group as well as overall winners, adding an extra layer of excitement to this year’s event. Age groups include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and those aged 80+.
All participants will receive a commemorative Warrior Waddle shirt along with refreshments after the race. The proceeds from this event support WSU Women's Basketball, making your participation not only enjoyable but also meaningful for the community.
