Nestled within the serene landscapes of Huddart County Park, the Woodside Ramble offers runners an unforgettable trail running experience across distances ranging from 10K to 50K. This scenic race takes place on meticulously maintained trails that wind through towering redwood groves and offer glimpses into the lush California wilderness. The event features a diverse course layout with sections of Bear Gulch, Skyline Trail, and Wunderlich Trail seamlessly connecting runners through varied terrain and challenging climbs. The park's expansive grassy areas provide ample space for pre-race preparations and post-event relaxation, complete with delicious food options to refuel after your run. Race day begins early at Huddart County Park in Woodside, California, where participants gather before sunrise to start their journey. Early bib pickup is available on December 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sports Basement in Redwood City for those who prefer not to wait until the morning of the event. Runners will encounter a series of well-stocked aid stations along the way. These stations are equipped with an array of energy-boosting items, including Gu Energy Gels and Chews, trail mix, pretzels, potato chips, Oreo cookies, Skratch Labs Sports Hydration Mix, PB&J sandwiches, M&M’s, salt tablets, bananas, watermelon, tangerines, Coke, Ginger Ale, and water. Each aid station is also prepared with basic first-aid supplies to ensure runners' safety. Parking within Huddart County Park costs $6 in cash only, but carpooling is highly encouraged among participants to reduce traffic congestion and environmental impact. The race has a strict capacity limit of 400 runners across all distances, ensuring an intimate and focused running experience for everyone involved. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers (male and female) in each distance category, as well as age group winners down to third place. Each participant will receive a custom medal upon crossing the finish line, while 50K completions come with a unique pint glass commemorating their achievement. The Dead Last Finisher is also recognized with a special award. For those who choose to volunteer at this event, Inside Trail Racing offers an engaging and rewarding experience that includes free race T-shirts, complimentary post-race food, and the opportunity to earn credits toward future events based on hours worked. Volunteering is a great way to meet like-minded individuals while contributing to the success of the Woodside Ramble. Registration for shirts guarantees your size preference if completed by December 5, 2026. The race's tri-blend performance crew tees are designed with cutting-edge sportswear technology that enhances comfort and performance during rigorous workouts outdoors. Please note that entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances except in the event of a force majeure cancellation, where Inside Trail Racing reserves the right to offer future race credit or deferral at their discretion.
