WOOF Trail Run 2026

Join the Ouabache State Park Trails for The WOOF 2026, set to take place on November 7th. This annual race welcomes runners of all abilities who wish to explore the park's stunning natural landscapes and test their skills across three distinct distances: a challenging 15-mile course, an engaging 10 miles, or a more accessible 5 miles.
Race morning finds participants gathering at Ouabache State Park, where cool autumn breezes and vibrant foliage paint a breathtaking scene. The event commences precisely at 9:00 am with runners setting off from clearly marked courses that wind through the park’s varied terrain. Expect to encounter wooden bridges, roots, ruts, and potentially damp leaves following recent rains.
The WOOF Trail Run has evolved significantly since its community-driven beginnings several years ago. Today, it supports local charities and raises awareness for environmental conservation within Ouabache State Park. With increasing participation numbers, this race stands as a highlight of Bluffton’s fall calendar.
For seasoned runners or newcomers to trail running, the 10-mile route offers an engaging yet manageable challenge with diverse features such as wooden bridges and uneven paths. The more substantial 15-mile course presents a greater test of endurance, while the accessible 5-mile option ensures there is something for every participant. All races conclude by 2:30 pm.
Registration fees are $34.09 for the 10-mile run and $44.79 for the 15-mile event. Early registration closes on October 31st to secure your spot, with bibs available at Bluffton High School from November 6th to 8th during specified hours.
