On Saturday, September 19, runners will gather at Johnson Park (101 E. Nebraska Avenue) for the Wurst Run Ever, a unique and festive running experience that combines athleticism with Oktoberfest traditions. The race begins promptly at 7:30 a.m., offering participants an early morning start to kick off their day.
Registration is open until September 4th, ensuring all runners receive exclusive swag including an official t-shirt, participation medal, a commemorative stein, and a drink ticket for the Oktoberfest celebration. The entry fee during this period is $30. Those who register after September 4th will still be able to join but may not secure their race day goodies, with fees increasing to $35 from September 4th through September 16th at midnight, and then rising further to $55 until the morning of the event.
