Nor3xtrem LATE returns this year with an exhilarating challenge for cycling enthusiasts, offering two routes: the Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo. The Gran Fondo route stretches 143 kilometers, climbing over 2860 meters in elevation, while the Medio Fondo covers a distance of 115 kilometers with nearly 2150 meters of ascent.
Competitors can select from different start categories based on their fitness level and racing style. The Sprint category is designed for those who want to push the limits early on, starting at 8:00 AM in Avenida de España. For a more relaxed yet competitive experience, participants can opt for the Clásica category within the Gran Fondo or join the Medio Fondo start at 9:30 AM.
The event promises an array of support services to ensure cyclists have everything they need on their journey. This includes mechanical assistance both en route and at fixed points along the way, as well as solid and liquid refreshments provided throughout the course. Medical care is also readily available with motorized medical units for quick response times.
Upon completion, all participants will receive a finisher’s medal and be eligible to win prizes such as technical clothing from sponsors. The first 500 registrants will even earn an exclusive race jersey. Additionally, there are free drink stations set up at the event's registration area on Saturday during packet pickup and Sunday for hydration support.
