Join the thrilling ECBB's Padula Bike Challenge 2026 and experience a celebration of cycling for all ages! From young "Pucerons" aged 3-4 to seasoned veterans over 70, every enthusiast has their category.
The event is open to both licensed (FSGT and other federations) and non-licensed participants who complete the health questionnaire on-site. The adult course features an energetic start loop of 1 km followed by technical loops of 6.5 km each for a total distance that varies based on categories: 4 laps for main groups like VAE, Juniors, Espoirs, Seniors, and Veterans; 3 laps for Cadets and Females; and 2 laps for Minors.
Safety is paramount with rigorous course marking, risk zones clearly indicated, and obstacles painted in fluorescent colors to ensure visibility. Wooden bridges and ramps are designed to be slip-resistant, providing a thrilling yet secure experience.
Professional marshals equipped with safety gear will oversee the event along with dedicated first-aid stations, ensuring peace of mind for all participants. Course recon is available on Saturday from 2 PM to 4 PM or Sunday morning from 9 AM to 10 AM.
Competitors can test their skills in a fair and respectful environment adhering strictly to course rules, technical assistance guidelines set by the FSGT, and an anti-pollution policy for race day hydration stations. Participants are organized into grids based on registration order with bib numbers assigned accordingly.
Children's categories enjoy free online entry while adults pay €10 (FSGT members) or €15 (other federations/non-members). Online registrations close at noon the Friday before, but late entries can be made on-site for an additional fee of €5. Winners receive cups and medals are awarded to second and third-place finishers in each category.
The event is designed with simple equipment requirements: a UCI-standard mountain bike, license plate, and rigid helmet. An enthusiastic welcome awaits all participants as the ECBB promises impeccable organization throughout the day.
Competitors can recharge at on-site refreshment stations while enjoying light snacks amidst a festive atmosphere. The race course features eco-friendly practices such as biodegradable products to keep the environment clean and promote sustainable cycling culture.
