Xmas Run

On December 14, 2025, the Asd Parmarathon invites runners and walkers to participate in its seventh annual Xmas Run at the Fidenza Shopping Park. This non-competitive event offers two distances: an 8.1-kilometer run and a more leisurely 4.4-kilometer walk.
The race begins promptly at 10:00 AM from the Central Area of the shopping park, located on Via Federico Fellini in Fidenza (FC). Participants can collect their bibs starting at 8:30 AM near the start line; those who have not registered online will need to pay a small additional fee.
Weather permitting, the event proceeds along an asphalt path through the outskirts of Fidenza. The route is entirely flat and features two loops around the central area. Despite being largely traffic-free, runners are advised to exercise caution as some sections remain open to vehicles.
The 8.1-kilometer course includes a scenic initial segment that also serves as its conclusion, while the shorter distance covers half this loop before returning home. Both routes offer participants an opportunity to enjoy festive decorations and holiday cheer throughout their journey.
While no formal timing is provided for either event, race officials will ensure safety until 1:10 PM; afterward, traffic control may be limited due to staffing constraints.
Registration remains open online up until midnight on December 13th. Adults (ages 17+) pay €10, while youths aged 7-16 incur a reduced fee of €7. Children under six can join for free and will receive special holiday-themed gifts such as Santa hats or other giveaways.
All registrants are entitled to refreshments, bag storage facilities, and additional souvenirs upon arrival at the park. Additionally, proceeds from this year’s event benefit the local Arcobaleno Cooperative in Fidenza—a fitting tribute to community spirit during the festive season.
