About the Event

XTERRA's Lake Tai trail challenge runs December 5-6 from the lawn of the Dongshan Biluochun Tea Culture Park near Shuiyue Temple on Suzhou's Jinting Island. Registration opens July 22 at 18:00, with early-bird pricing through August 12.
Distances range from a 55K (~2,946m climbing, 13.5-hour cutoff, ITRA 3 points) and 35K (~1,860m climbing, 10-hour cutoff, ITRA 2 points) down to a 20K (910m climbing, ITRA 1 point), 12K, and youth/family 8K and 5K categories, with the longer distances starting the morning of the 6th and the shorter ones starting midday on the 5th.
Winter brings Jinting Island its clearest air and warmest light -- Lake Tai's most beautiful season -- for a race through a landscape where nature and culture meet.
