XXXI TRIATLON ISLA DE LA GOMERA

The XXXI Triatlón Isla de La Gomera is an open-entry sprint triathlon set to take place on August 29, 2026, at 5:50 PM. Organized by the Cabildo Insular de La Gomera in collaboration with Top Time Eventos SL and supported by the Federación Canaria de Triatlón, this event promises a welcoming atmosphere for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike.
The race course winds through the picturesque Bahía y Avenida de San Sebastián on the island of La Gomera. Participants will tackle a sprint distance that includes a 750-meter swim in the bay’s clear waters followed by a 20-kilometer bike ride along scenic coastal roads and concludes with a 5-kilometer run through charming streets lined with lush vegetation.
This edition not only welcomes general participants but also serves as part of the Canary Islands Series and hosts the Canary Islands Championship for age groups. The event offers an opportunity to compete against athletes from across the archipelago while enjoying one of Spain’s most beautiful islands.
Registration is personal and non-transferable, requiring acceptance of the official rules available on FECANTRI's secure online platform using Visa or MasterCard payments. Early bird pricing begins June 26 at 5:00 PM until July 1, with rates as follows:
- Federados (registered athletes): €25 + €1 processing fee
- No federados (non-registered athletes): €30 + €1 processing fee
Late registration is available from August 1 to September 8, 2026, if spots remain. Rates for the second phase are:
- Federados: €35 + €1 processing fee
- No federados: €40 + €1 processing fee
The day's schedule includes packet pickup between noon and 2 PM, followed by a check-in at 4:15 PM. Transition area closure is set for 5:35 PM with the male race starting promptly at 5:50 PM and females following shortly after at 6:00 PM.
Awards will be presented around 8:00 PM contingent upon ferry schedules, ensuring a memorable conclusion to this vibrant sporting event.
