On October 3, 2026, the charming town of Kock hosts an exciting day filled with races for runners of all ages. The morning kicks off at 9:00 AM when participants and spectators gather to enjoy a festive atmosphere.
The youngest racers take center stage from 9:10 AM onwards, beginning with the SKRZATA category, featuring children aged four years old and under who compete in a short sprint of 60 meters. This is quickly followed by a race for preschool-aged children covering 100 meters at 9:15 AM.
As the day progresses, older age groups join in, starting with elementary school girls born between 2018-2019 running 250 meters at 9:25 AM. Immediately after, boys from the same birth years compete on a similar course. The races then escalate to longer distances for slightly older children, featuring 500-meter runs for those born in 2016 and 2017.
By mid-morning, more substantial challenges await with middle school-aged participants competing over 800 meters. Girls and boys from the classes of 2011 to 2009 race consecutively at 10:30 AM for girls and 10:40 AM for boys.
The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the main event, scheduled to begin promptly at 10:00 AM. This longer-distance run offers a variety of age categories including K/M (men) and women's races across different decades from ages 16 through adulthood. Special recognition goes to the fastest resident of Gmina Kock in each gender category.
The day promises not only competitive racing but also community spirit, with families cheering on young athletes and older runners celebrating their achievements together.
