About the Event

The Yachiro Dragon Trail is an exhilarating trail running competition that celebrates the discovery of some of Japan's oldest dinosaur fossils near Hagi City. This unique race takes runners on a challenging journey through three majestic mountains named after dragons: Hakuryu-san, Ryuusei-zan, and Ryugamine.
Starting at Ryuusei-zan, participants navigate rugged terrain along steep ridges that resemble the spine of a dragon. The route winds its way across rocky paths and verdant forests before reaching the summit of Ryugamine, where runners are rewarded with panoramic views stretching over lush landscapes. Completing this arduous course earns each runner the esteemed title of "Dragon."
Entry fees vary depending on whether you participate solo or as part of a relay team:
- Solo participants: ¥15,000
- Support rescue runners for solo racers: ¥7,500
For teams competing in relay format:
- 2-person teams: ¥25,000
- 3-person teams: ¥33,000
- 4-person teams: ¥40,000
Additionally, a commemorative T-shirt is available for purchase at ¥4,000.
