York 5K (NOV '26)

The Even Splits York 5K races offer runners the chance to push their limits on the flat and speedy University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit, located just steps from the university's vibrant campus. Held monthly from February through November, these events provide a consistent platform for athletes to track their progress over time.
Each race is meticulously organized with chip timing, ensuring accurate results that are immediately texted to participants as they cross the finish line. Your kilometre splits will also be available online via Power of 10 shortly after each event concludes. Plus, every runner receives a chocolate bar at the end for an extra sweet reward.
Whether you're racing solo or with your club team, these races provide ample opportunities to challenge yourself and improve month by month. The entry fees start at £10/£12 per race, but there's also a bulk purchase option that can save both time and money if you plan on participating multiple times throughout the year.
For first-time participants, a unique timing chip embedded in your assigned number will be provided upon registration. This same number is valid for both York and Leeds 5K events, making it easy to switch between locations without any additional cost. If you have an older RED race number from previous years (2020-2025), feel free to use that again in 2026 by simply entering the number on your entry form.
In case of loss or damage, all entrants are entitled to one complimentary replacement within a year's period. Any subsequent replacements will incur an additional fee of £4.
