About the Event

Starting Sunday, November 1 at the south-gate watchtower of Heping Ancient Town, Shaowu, Fujian, this trail race caps at 2,000 runners across 41km "Supreme," 32km "Grandmaster," 22km "Hero," and 7km "Young Hero" (solo/family). Registration is first-come, first-served, with early-bird pricing through August 30.
The 41km (~2,395m gain, ITRA ~2 points) starts 7:30 with a 9.5-hour cutoff; the 32km (~2,209m gain, ITRA ~1 point) has a 7.5-hour cutoff; the 22km (~1,378m gain, ITRA ~1 point) has a 5.5-hour cutoff; the 7km has a 2.5-hour cutoff.
Held in Shaowu, birthplace of legendary Tai Chi master Zhang Sanfeng, this 12th-year event follows centuries-old mountain trails through a landscape steeped in martial-arts legend at the edge of the Wuyi Mountains.
Each distance is offered as a base entry or bundled with add-ons: Shaowu accommodation, a Wuyi Mountain/Taining sightseeing package, muscle tape, a commemorative polo shirt, or a lightweight trekking pole set.
