Ziguatrail 2026

Discover the Z'Iguatrail for its third edition, offering two unique routes: a 10 km course and an extended 19 km trek. The shorter route remains within Compolibat's boundaries, while the longer one ventures into Prévinquières, providing runners with fresh terrain and scenic vistas.
Both courses feature significant elevation gains—460 meters for the 10 km run and 880 meters for the more challenging option—and are designed to showcase the area’s rugged beauty. The landscape is dotted with trails that wind through forests and hills, offering a mix of natural pathways and gentle dirt roads, ensuring an engaging experience without technical obstacles.
A highlight of this event is the final passage through the igues—a distinctive feature where runners will ascend from above rather than tackle steep ascents to reach it directly. This approach allows participants to recover slightly before immersing themselves in one of the region's most memorable spots.
The organizers have kept paved sections minimal—just 50 meters for the shorter route and 100 meters for the longer course—to ensure runners stay immersed in nature throughout their journey. With its combination of stunning scenery, manageable terrain, and a unique finish line feature, the Z'Iguatrail promises to leave participants with lasting memories and a desire to return.
