The fifth annual Haughley Festival of Running invites runners of all levels to explore the picturesque grounds of Haughley Park, Suffolk. Whether you're tackling your first 5k or aiming for an ultra-marathon, this intimate and exclusive venue offers a serene setting with plenty of space to enjoy the race. Participants can choose from various distances including 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon, and ultra-marathon routes that wind through Haughley Park's scenic pathways and woodland trails. The event features water stations at key points along each route, ensuring runners don't have to worry about carrying hydration or nutrition. Parking is included and conveniently located on-site with a dedicated attendant guiding you directly to your spot and the start line for race number collection. All participants will receive an email confirmation from their entry portal that includes access to a detailed race briefing covering all aspects of event day logistics. Upon crossing the finish line, runners are rewarded with a custom-designed medal tailored specifically for this year's festival. Alternatively, those who opt for the lucky dip option can choose from a selection of previous event medals. The course is primarily made up of pathways but also includes sections of trails and woodland that add variety to your run while showcasing Haughley Park’s natural beauty. While road shoes are recommended, trail runners may consider bringing their preferred footwear based on weather conditions leading up to the race day.
