Experience the breathtaking landscapes and challenging terrain at the annual Harvest 50 Gravel Ride & Race. This unique cycling event takes place on picturesque gravel country roads of Boone County, Indiana, starting from Maplelawn Farmstead in Zionsville. Participants can choose between a 25-mile or an adventurous 50-mile route, each offering distinct challenges and scenic views. The 50-mile course predominantly features over 80% gravel paths, while the shorter 25-mile option is evenly split between road and gravel sections, providing a well-rounded experience for all skill levels. Register online by September 18 at noon or visit Westfield Cyclesports on packet pickup day to secure your spot. Race day registration will also be available from 9:00 AM onwards at the same location. The event promises an enriching journey with plenty of amenities and perks included in the registration fee: - Enjoy a leisurely pre-race breakfast, including donuts and coffee - Access clean portapotties along the route for convenience - Benefit from on-site mechanical support to ensure smooth riding conditions - Experience chip timing for accurate results tracking Stay hydrated with water and soft drinks available at various points. Post-race, savor a delicious lunch prepared by two food trucks of your choice or enjoy adult beverages if you are 21 years or older. Upon completion, receive an official event t-shirt (limited to those pre-registered before September 8th) and participate in the awards ceremony held from 2:30 PM onwards. The mass start will commence at 10:00 AM sharp for all categories. Lunch service runs between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM, followed by an immediate presentation of prizes to top finishers across various categories including men's and women’s races in both distances. Rain or shine, this event remains committed to providing a memorable experience with live music entertainment and two fully stocked sag stops for support.
