Zip the Cow 11 July 2026

Zip the Cow is an exhilarating adventure that invites thrill-seekers to explore the iconic Cow and Calf Rocks above Ilkley. Sponsored by LCF Law and Crag and Co Accountants, this unique experience offers participants four distinct time slots: daytime, sunset, twilight, and moonlight.
Participants will ascend to the summit of the 'Cow' at Cow and Calf Rocks before plummeting down a 270-meter zip line that reaches speeds up to 35 miles per hour. For those who find the climb challenging, lifts are available for the 1:30 pm slot on Saturday. The event is designed with flexibility in mind; you can choose more expensive options if you wish to gift someone else a spot without fundraising requirements.
Daytime participants will enjoy panoramic views of Wharfedale as they soar down the zip line, though it might be hard for them to look away from their exhilarating descent! For those who join later in the day or night, the Cow and Calf Rocks are illuminated with lights, creating a visually stunning experience. Spots fill up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis.
For an extra thrill, consider signing up for the team challenge event taking place on Friday, July 10th.
