Zombie Run 10K & 5K

Join us for the annual Sandringham Zombie Run 10K & 5K, set for October 24, 2026. This thrilling Halloween-themed race invites you to experience the spookiest running adventure through the town's charming streets and parks.
Participants will begin their journey at Victoria Park in the morning, a picturesque venue known for its lush green spaces and walking paths that provide a perfect setting for your spooky run. As you weave through the course, take in the crisp autumn air while passing by landmarks such as the historic Sandringham Railway Station.
The 10K Zombie Fun Run presents more challenging terrain with slight elevation changes, ensuring an engaging experience on well-maintained surfaces. The shorter distances include a 5K and a 2km Zombie Dash, both starting at Victoria Park at 4:00 PM sharp. These routes offer less intense but still thrilling runs through the neighborhood, suitable for runners of all abilities or families seeking a fun Halloween outing.
October weather conditions typically provide comfortable temperatures between 13.7°C to 24.3°C with mild winds that may add some challenge to your run but won't detract from the excitement. Early bird registration fees are $69 for the 10K and $49 for the 5K, with deadlines set on October 3rd.
Bib pickup is available at the Sandringham Community Centre from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 23. Bring your identification and any necessary forms if required. The event welcomes runners of all ages; first-timers are encouraged to be ready with their race numbers and timing chips (if needed) for a memorable experience.
