About the Event

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Swiss Alps, the Valais Alpine Run offers runners an unforgettable experience with its challenging yet rewarding course. This race takes place on November 7th, 2026, inviting participants to immerse themselves in the crisp autumn air and vibrant colors that characterize this season in Switzerland.
The route winds through picturesque villages and scenic trails, showcasing the region's rich cultural heritage alongside breathtaking natural beauty. As runners make their way along the course, they are treated to panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, rolling hills, and lush forests.
With its mix of paved paths and rugged terrain, the Valais Alpine Run presents a unique challenge for both seasoned athletes and recreational runners alike. The elevation changes throughout the race add an extra layer of difficulty but also provide ample opportunities for breathtaking vistas at every turn.
In addition to the physical demands of the course, participants will enjoy the supportive atmosphere created by fellow competitors, enthusiastic spectators, and local residents who come out in full force to cheer on those taking part in this special event. The Valais Alpine Run is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to connect with nature, challenge oneself, and celebrate the spirit of community.
For runners looking for something extraordinary, the 2026 edition promises another memorable adventure through one of Europe’s most picturesque regions.
Participants should be prepared for variable weather conditions typical of this time of year in Switzerland. The race organizers recommend wearing layers that can easily be added or removed as temperatures fluctuate throughout the day.
This event is open to runners from all over the world, and registration details will become available closer to the confirmed date of November 7th, 2026.
Whether you are a local resident eager to showcase your hometown’s beauty or an international visitor seeking new running experiences, the Valais Alpine Run invites everyone to join in celebrating this unique blend of sport, culture, and natural wonder.
