1. Staubera Run 2026

The Staubera Run, set for August 9th, invites runners to explore the challenging yet rewarding terrain of the Rheintal valley. This legendary trek offers an unforgettable journey that combines breathtaking views with steep climbs and rugged paths.
Starting at Frümsen's base station, participants have a choice in route as they ascend towards Staubern’s mountain top. The 7.62 km course features a total elevation gain of 1,260 meters, making it both demanding and exhilarating for those who seek an adventure beyond the ordinary.
Participants are allowed to bring along a small backpack measuring up to 45 × 36 × 20 cm, which can be left at designated storage points from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM. The race allows each runner three hours to complete their journey, providing ample time for those who wish to take in the stunning scenery and enjoy a leisurely pace.
Along the route, runners will find small refreshment stations where they can recharge with snacks and water. Upon reaching the summit, participants are rewarded with a hearty meal served by Restaurant Staubern, offering a well-deserved break amidst panoramic views of the valley below.
Race numbers become available starting at 8:00 AM on race day, allowing runners to collect their bibs before setting off individually between 9:30 and 10:30 AM. Early starters will have an advantage in tackling some of the more challenging sections early in the morning when temperatures are cooler.
In case adverse weather conditions make it unsafe for participants or officials, all tickets can be fully refunded to ensure everyone's safety and satisfaction.
