The 14th edition of the Ducey 10km Race is set to take place on November 7, 2026. This well-established race offers runners a scenic and challenging course that winds through picturesque landscapes around Ducey. Participants will run three loops: one short loop followed by two longer ones, making for an engaging route designed with both speed and endurance in mind. The course is officially measured and certified as qualifying for the French Championships, ensuring accuracy and fairness. Race day amenities include ample parking spaces, changing rooms, showers, and a variety of dining options to cater to all needs before and after the race. Registration opens on Klikego until November 1st at midnight with an additional fee applied thereafter. For licensed FFA athletes, the entry cost is €12 plus a €1 processing fee; for non-licensed participants, it’s €14 plus the same processing charge. The bib collection process will take place from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the multi-purpose hall in Ducey. On race day, awards distribution is scheduled around 5:00 PM as well. Prizes are available for all participants up to a limit of 800 runners and include raffle prizes based on bib numbers drawn during the event. The top five male and female finishers will receive special recognition in addition to these general rewards. No registrations will be accepted at the venue itself, ensuring that everyone has enough time to prepare adequately for their run. For young athletes, there are several categories with shorter distances designed specifically for different age groups: - Minors (born 2012 and 2013) start a descent of the main race course at 4:00 PM over 3700 meters. - Awakenings (born in or after 2018) begin their run from the stadium at 4:15 PM for 750 meters. - Pre-schoolers (born in 2016 and 2017) depart from the stadium at 4:25 PM to cover a distance of 1100 meters. - Juniors (born between 2014 and 2015) start their race from the stadium at 4:40 PM for 1420 meters. All young participants will receive medals, refreshments, and trophies upon finishing first in each category.
