Farmer Race - La course des fermiers

Step into the heart of rural France for an unforgettable adventure at the inaugural Farmer Race – La Course des Fermiers. This unique hybrid race blends traditional running with intense strength training exercises, immersing participants in a rustic setting complete with bales of hay and tractor tires.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Centre Équestre Les Arcys in Saint Nicolas des Bois (Orne), this event promises a day filled with challenges and camaraderie. Teams of two can register online through Klikego by August 15th for just €30 per duo, or €40 after that date.
The race course is designed to test both endurance and strength, beginning with a kilometer run followed by various stations: sled pulling, sled pushing, burpees, farmer carries, lunges, and wall balls. Each segment alternates between running kilometers and completing specific exercises before moving on to the next challenge. Participants can split their runs or work together at each station as they see fit.
A volunteer will accompany every team throughout the race to ensure all distances are accurately covered while also adding an element of support and guidance. The day is divided into three waves, starting at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:00 PM respectively, with teams notified about their specific start times by September 4th.
Participants should arrive at least half an hour before their race time to prepare for the event. The venue offers a private parking area and refreshments will be available on-site throughout the day. With its rustic charm and engaging course design, this unique competition is open to all ages over sixteen who are ready to experience something truly special.
