Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for intermediate young riders aged 10-16, though younger enthusiasts are welcome too upon request. The morning kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering a dynamic first hour packed with energy and skill-building exercises followed by a brief break around noon. Participants are encouraged to bring along their favorite drink and snack for sustenance throughout the session. While drop-in attendance is possible on the day of the event, we offer an online booking system for those who prefer advanced planning. Booking closes at 10pm on Fridays as it allows us to prepare lists for the following Saturday. When registering, please use your child's name rather than yours to ensure accurate record-keeping. Additionally, if your child is a member of HHYCC (Hillside Highway Youth Cycling Club), they'll receive a £2 discount off their booking fee. Our club relies heavily on volunteer support and we warmly invite interested parents or guardians to join our register team, bike maintenance crew, or coaching staff. All roles operate on a rotating schedule, providing ample opportunity for involvement and contribution. If you're looking to get more involved beyond the sessions themselves, consider signing up as a volunteer. Whether it's helping with registration, maintaining equipment, or assisting in training sessions, your help is greatly appreciated and will play an integral role in enriching our community of young cyclists.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
