About the Event

Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for young cyclists aged 10 to 16 who are looking to improve their skills and enjoy the sport. While primarily aimed at intermediate riders, younger enthusiasts with sufficient experience are also welcome after a brief assessment of their abilities.
The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering two hours packed with energetic cycling activities that will challenge and engage participants. The morning session is followed by a short break around noon, giving everyone the chance to rest, hydrate, and refuel with snacks they should bring along.
Participants can register online for this event or simply drop in on the day of the session if preferred. Online bookings close at 10pm every Friday night as we prepare our attendance lists for Saturday. When booking, please ensure you use your child's name rather than yours to avoid any confusion during check-in.
If your young rider is a member of HHYCC (Hillside Youth Cycling Club), they will enjoy a £2 discount on the session fee. Our club relies heavily on volunteers and we are always looking for enthusiastic individuals who can contribute their time in areas such as registration, bike maintenance, or coaching. These roles operate on a rotating schedule to ensure everyone gets involved.
Come along and be part of an inclusive community that supports young cyclists in developing their skills while having fun.
