12. Sommerholz Bergsprint

RADTEAM OBERHOFEN is set to host the Bergeinzelzeitfahren, an exhilarating individual time trial cycling race scheduled for Friday, August 8, 2025. The starting point is approximately 2.2 kilometers from Oberhofen and participants will make their way along a challenging course that totals 3,430 meters in length with an elevation gain of 205 meters.
The event welcomes up to 200 registered riders plus additional late entries until August 5th at the cost of EUR 25 for adults or EUR 15 for youth. Late entry registration on race day between 3:00 PM and 4:45 PM will incur an extra fee of EUR 5.
The race begins with individual starts every thirty seconds, ensuring a smooth transition from one rider to the next without any adjustments if a participant is unable to start at their scheduled time. Should a technical issue arise just before the start, riders must consult with officials for permission to compete later in the event.
Riders are required to use conventional mountain bikes or full-suspension models equipped with standard MTB tires; electric bicycles and slick-tire modifications are strictly prohibited. The race route is open to public traffic, so all participants must adhere to local road regulations including right-of-way rules and no passing on corners or drafting behind other cyclists.
The environment around Oberhofen plays a crucial role in the event's success, as riders will be racing through scenic countryside while respecting nature by properly disposing of waste at designated collection points. Any littering results in immediate disqualification from the race.
Upon completion of the course, racers are invited to celebrate their achievements with fellow competitors and supporters at "beim Erich" hotel in Oberhofen around 8:30 PM for an awards ceremony where top three finishers per category will be recognized.
All participants must sign a data protection agreement form during registration as part of the event's commitment to privacy and security.
