Organized by Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario (ESWO), this family-friendly fundraiser invites runners and walkers to contribute to vital epilepsy support programs while immersing themselves in nature's serene beauty. The race kicks off at Graham Family Eco Park precisely at 10:00 AM on the day of the event, offering a perfect setting for both seasoned athletes and newcomers. With temperatures ranging from a comfortable minimum of 12.9°C to a maximum of 22.8°C, autumn's crisp air adds an idyllic backdrop. Participants can choose between two main routes: a dynamic 5K run or an inspiring 2.5K walk. Both distances weave through lush greenery and winding paths, ensuring scenic trails for all. For younger participants under twelve years old, there’s also the option to join in either distance free of charge. In-person registration costs CA$34.62 per participant for both adult races; virtual runners can participate at no cost by completing their chosen distance within the designated timeframe. The race concludes with a celebratory barbecue featuring exciting prizes, marking an event that not only raises funds but also fosters community spirit and support.
