This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels, from seasoned athletes to casual enthusiasts. The festivities begin with opening ceremonies at 7:30 PM, followed by a vibrant start time of 8 PM. Registration fees are $30 for adults and $15 for children under the age of 12; kids five years old and younger run free without a shirt included in their registration. Participants who register before October 1 will receive both a T-shirt and glow stick, which add to the magical atmosphere as you illuminate your way through the course. Packet pickup is available on Thursday, October 14th from 4-7 PM at YWCA located at 4601 Corona Drive. Alternatively, packets can be picked up race day between 6 and 7:30 PM near the event location. The route features a scenic path through Cole Park, offering participants a chance to enjoy the park's natural beauty while engaging in an evening of fun and community spirit. The course is designed for runners, joggers, walkers, strollers, children, and even pets, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone involved. This event supports the YWCA’s mission by raising funds through participant fees to aid their programs and initiatives that promote empowerment and equality within communities. Chip timing will be used during the race, ensuring accurate results for top finishers while still allowing all participants to enjoy a leisurely pace if they choose. Bring your glow sticks and light up the night as you celebrate alongside fellow runners and walkers in this family-friendly event designed to bring people together for a great cause. Join us at Cole Park Amphitheater on October 16th, and be part of an unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie, fun, and support for important community programs. About Corpus Christi
Learn more about the host city, Corpus Christi.
Corpus Christi is Texas's largest coastal city and the gateway to Padre Island. While Corpus Christi isn't on the way to much of anything except itself, it offers enough to fill a visit in its own right, or a multi-day trip from San Antonio, Austin, or Houston. The name is Latin for "Body of Christ".
