Course & Conditions The 10K race route will traverse dirt roads through picturesque pecan orchards, offering runners an unparalleled experience under the trees during fall. The 5K Run/Walk is set up as an out-and-back course with a turn around at the one and a half mile mark, ensuring it's accessible for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Despite being mostly firm ground, participants should expect some soft spots due to recent rainfall; runners are advised to wear appropriate footwear.
Start/finish operations will be located at Green Valley Pecan Company, with aid stations set up along the course for hydration support. Limited water is available on the route itself, but ample supplies can be found at the start and finish area where participants can also grab a free T-shirt if they preregister by October 20th.
