Southern Arizona Triple 50

The Southern Arizona Triple 50 is back, offering an unparalleled challenge for trail runners who are ready to test their limits across three of the most demanding ultra running events in southern Arizona. This unique package invites participants to take on the Colossal Vail 50 at Vail, AZT Oracle Rumble 50 near Oracle, and Old Pueblo 50 in Sonoita over a single season.
Each event is set along sections of the renowned Arizona National Scenic Trail, where runners will encounter diverse terrain ranging from rugged canyons to rolling hills. The events are designed not only for speed but also endurance, with each course presenting its own unique challenges and scenic beauty that showcases southern Arizona's natural splendor.
By registering as a Triple 50 participant, you gain access to exclusive discounts on entry fees compared to signing up individually for each race. This package is more than just three races; it’s an invitation into the trail running community dedicated to preserving and celebrating the Arizona Trail through volunteerism and support of the Arizona Trail Association.
Upon completion of all three 50-mile events within a combined time frame under 45 hours, finishers will receive custom commemorative gear that celebrates their achievement. The Triple 50 also recognizes participants with special prizes including inclusion on an exclusive list of finishers featured on the event website and invitations to celebrate at a festive fiesta in April.
The Southern Arizona Triple 50 is supported by Team Woodall from Long Realty, who are committed runners and volunteers dedicated to making these events possible. Special discounts on registration fees are available for Native Americans, members of the Arizona Trail Association, and military veterans by contacting matthew@aztrail.org before registering.
In case participants do not complete all three events within 45 hours, a partial refund is provided to cover part of the cost associated with receiving custom finisher gear. Additionally, credits towards future Arizona Trail Endurance Events may be offered if registration cancellation occurs at least two weeks in advance and notification is given.
