2. Einrad-Triathlon in Taufkirchen (Vils)

Taufkirchen Trike Challenge invites participants from around the world to experience an exciting race day filled with unique challenges and scenic routes. The competition includes swimming, cycling, and running segments that showcase the beautiful landscapes of Taufkirchen.
The swim portion takes place at Waldbad Taufkirchen, located on Flaring 11 in the heart of the town. Participants will enjoy a refreshing dip in this picturesque outdoor pool before moving onto the bike course. Cyclists then venture out along the Radweg from Taufkirchen towards Dorfen, followed by a run that continues down the same route toward Velden.
The race is open to both domestic and international competitors who are confident on their unicycles. The event features two guaranteed age categories: Junior (up to 14 years) and Senior (starting at 15). Depending on the number of entrants, additional subcategories will be created based on gender and specific age ranges.
Competitors can choose between two classifications: Standard and Unlimited. In the Standard category, unicycles must adhere strictly to IUF regulations with a maximum wheel diameter of 618 mm and a minimum crank length of 125 mm, prohibiting any gear changes during the race. The Unlimited classification offers more flexibility for participants.
