Packet pickup for physical participants will take place on September 4 from Road Runners Sports in Arlington or at the DoubleTree Hotel Race Day morning, ensuring everyone has their gear before the start of the event. Baggage drop is available at the hotel’s Commonwealth Room between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Please use a clear bag provided during packet pickup for easy security checks. Awards will be given to individual runners in several categories including male and female first place winners from law enforcement, firefighting, military service, public safety communications, open divisions, and the under-12 category. Team awards are also offered based on the same criteria, fostering camaraderie among participants of various backgrounds. Post-race festivities include light snacks, water, non-alcoholic beverages provided by ARAMARK catering services, as well as food trucks available for more substantial meals. A family-friendly DJ will entertain attendees at the finish line while awards are presented to top competitors. Participants should note that strollers can join but must start from the back of the pack due to safety concerns. Dogs are not allowed on course and parking is limited; public transportation via Metro stations Pentagon City or Pentagon (Blue/Yellow Line) is recommended for ease of access.
