Welcome to the prestigious Century Road Club Association's thrilling racing season! The upcoming race, scheduled for June 30, 2026, at 5:30 AM, promises an exhilarating experience. Participants should arrive and line up between 4:25 AM and 5:15 AM to ensure a smooth start. The course will wind through the picturesque Engineer’s Gate Finish area, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as you complete either four or five laps—depending on your development level (Wdev for 4.2 laps, Mdev for 5.2 laps). The finish line is strategically placed to capture all the excitement and energy from both racers and spectators. Newcomers are encouraged to pick up a paper race number at least 15 minutes before the start in the boat house parking lot. Once you've completed your first skills session, you'll receive a cloth number that will be used for the entire season, ensuring continuity and ease of identification throughout all races. CRCA club membership is included with development registration, providing an inclusive entry into park racing. For those new to bike racing or returning after a long winter, CRCA offers free skills sessions and coaching at various times before each race. The detailed Skills and Coaching Calendar can be accessed online for your convenience. The association caters to racers of all levels through multiple membership options tailored to fit different availabilities and budgets, making it easier than ever to join the racing community. Remember, adherence to basic rules is crucial: - Avoid riding in the recreational/runner's lane. - Do not ride backwards on the drive. - Steer clear of footpaths. - Respect public spaces by avoiding public urination. - Treat all club members, racers, officials, park users, and the general public with courtesy. About Manhattan
Learn more about the host city, Manhattan.
Wall Street. Madison Avenue. 34th Street. Broadway. Times Square. Manhattan is so well known that even the names of its streets have become iconic and understood the world over. This long, thin island is only one of New York City's five boroughs, but it's Manhattan that has the concrete canyons and the inimitable skyline; Manhattan that has the world's brightest theater district; Manhattan that has Central Park, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, and the Met; and Manhattan that includes iconic neighborhoods like Harlem, the Upper East Side, Times Square, and Greenwich Village.
