2026 Daecheongho Obaengni-gil Walking Festival

On October 31, 2026, Daejeon Metropolitan City will host the 2026 Daecheongho Obaengni-gil Walking Festival at Geumgang Lohas Daecheong Park. Organized by the Daejeon Tourism Organization and the Korea Walking Movement Headquarters, this event celebrates health, healing, and relaxation along a scenic trail.
Participants will have three course options to choose from: a 10 km walk for those seeking a more challenging experience; a family-friendly 4 km route designed for multi-generational groups; and a shorter 1.5 km stroll tailored specifically for seniors and families with infants. The event is limited to the first 1,500 registrants.
Registration begins at 07:30 AM in the East Plaza of Geumgang Lohas Daecheong Park, where participants can receive their entry materials and course briefings until 9:30 AM. Entry fees are KRW 2,000 per person, ensuring a modest yet meaningful contribution towards this community event.
The walk itself commences at 10:30 AM with staggered starts for each distance category to ensure smooth participation throughout the day. All participants will receive souvenirs and completion certificates upon finishing their respective courses by 3 PM.
