The 49th Annual Callbeck’s Home Hardware Dunk River Road Race, set to take place on July 26, 2026, offers runners two exciting options: a challenging 5km route and the longer 7.3-mile journey or its equivalent in kilometers (11.75km). The race kicks off at 9:00 AM from the Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge located at 857 Dunk River Road in Central Bedeque, where the road intersects with Route 1A. Participants can start their registration and pick up their bibs from 7:45 AM onwards at the Bedeque rink. Convenient facilities are available for those needing to freshen up before or after the race. As you set out on your chosen course, prepare yourself for a picturesque journey through Central Bedeque's charming countryside. Upon completing your run, runners will be greeted with refreshments and camaraderie at the finish line celebration hosted by Callbeck’s Home Hardware. The event is designed to cater to all skill levels—from seasoned athletes to casual participants looking for an engaging outdoor experience. Entry fees are as follows: - Youth under 14: Free - Youth aged 15 to 18: $15 - Adults 19 and older: $25 For the top three overall male and female runners in each distance, a prestigious trophy awaits.
