2026 Gyeongju Athletics Federation Presidents Cup Marathon

The Gyeongju Athletics Federation President's Cup Marathon returns to the picturesque riverside sports plaza along Seocheon Stream for its annual celebration of running on November 8, 2026. Participants will gather at 8:00 AM for a day filled with competitive spirit and scenic views.
Race festivities kick off promptly at 9:00 AM with the start of the half marathon, followed closely by the 10km race beginning just five minutes later at 9:05 AM. The shorter but equally engaging 5km event will commence at 9:10 AM, offering a more compact yet exhilarating route along the stream.
Competitors can choose from three distances: a half marathon and a 10km run for KRW 40,000 each, or a 5km race priced at KRW 30,000. The event accommodates up to 700 runners on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those tackling the half marathon and 10km distances, expect an official timing chip, a finisher medal, an exclusive event T-shirt, and refreshments at the finish line. Participants in the shorter 5km race will also receive a finisher medal and post-race refreshments but won't use a timing chip.
The half marathon has a time limit of two hours and thirty minutes to ensure all runners can enjoy the well-paced course without undue pressure. Race day amenities include changing rooms, baggage storage facilities, and water stations placed approximately every 2.5km along the route for convenience and hydration support.
