Experience the thrill of open water swimming at the HFP Racing Open Water Swim Clinics. Tailored to meet the diverse needs of swimmers—from beginners stepping into their first triathlon to seasoned athletes aiming for Ironman excellence—these clinics offer a progressive journey to enhance your skills. Each clinic is scheduled across three picturesque state parks, providing an ideal setting for both learning and practice: - Deer Creek State Park (Mt. Sterling, OH) - June 6 - Caesar Creek State Park (Waynesville, OH) - June 27 - Buck Creek State Park (Springfield, OH) - July 18 The morning begins with a focused coaching session from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Here, participants will receive one hour of expert instruction on essential swimming techniques such as body and head positioning, comfort in the water, sighting, drafting, rotation, breathing, and stroke timing. Following this, swimmers have the opportunity for a brief period of open water practice from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM under the guidance of coaches. Led by experienced professionals like Perry Hock, US Master Level 1 and 2 Swim Coach and owner of Vector Coaching; and Ryan Taylor, USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach and Head Coach at RCT Athletics, these clinics ensure that every swimmer receives personalized feedback to refine their technique. Whether you're a newcomer or looking to polish your skills, the HFP Racing Open Water Swim Clinics provide an invaluable opportunity for growth.
