2026 Isle of Wight Sportive

Cycling enthusiasts are invited to experience a thrilling journey around the Isle of Wight for our 2026 Sportive, organized by European Cycle Events. For this year's edition, we’re moving away from Surrey’s familiar routes and heading towards an unforgettable seaside adventure. The event will commence and conclude in Freshwater, circumnavigating the entire island on a clockwise route that avoids crossing the £1 Cowes chain ferry for smoother navigation.
The 122 km course is packed with diverse terrain and elevation changes totaling 2,109 meters. This comprehensive ride offers breathtaking coastal views alongside rolling hills and quaint villages, immersing cyclists in some of England’s most picturesque landscapes.
