2026 Lianjiang Lisanhoutou "Golden Autumn Double Ninth Festival Hillside Harvest" Mountain Climbing Festival (2026龙泉李山头“金秋重阳·梯田丰收”登山节)

Celebrate the Autumn Harvest with a climb to云端！The 2026 Lian Shan Tou Mountain Festival, themed "Golden Autumn Double Ninth - Rice Paddy Abundance," will take place on October 17th at the Shantie Liushang Homestay in Jishanhe Village of Tashijie Street, Longquan City, Zhejiang Province. This event features two exciting categories: a Cloud Ladder Speed Challenge covering 13 kilometers and a Rice Fragrance Walk Experience spanning 3.9 kilometers.
The Cloud Ladder Speed Challenge starts at 9:00 AM on October 17th with an actual distance of 13.19km, including a total ascent of 1248 meters and descent of 1249 meters. The course is designed for trail runners and features diverse terrain through native forests and rice paddy terraces. Participants will race against the clock in both male and female categories with top five finishers receiving cash prizes. All participants who complete this challenging route receive a medal, electronic certificate, and special harvest-themed gifts. Age limits are set from 18 to 65 years old; those aged 60 or above also qualify for exclusive souvenirs.
The Rice Fragrance Walk Experience begins slightly later at 9:10 AM on the same day with an actual distance of 3.94km, featuring a total ascent and descent of 164 meters and 166 meters respectively. This course is perfect for families, seniors, and casual walkers who wish to explore thousand acres of golden rice paddies and ancient village paths at their own pace. The route offers breathtaking views of the autumn landscape while providing an easy-going atmosphere suitable for all ages from 5 to 70 years old; children aged between 5-8 must be accompanied by a parent throughout the walk, and those over 60 will also receive special gifts.
In October’s golden season, the rice paddies in Jishanhe Village shimmer with abundant harvest. This event is part of the Zhejiang Province's "9·9" Double Ninth Festival Fitness Campaign celebrating health and longevity. Participants can look forward to a day filled with scenic beauty, cultural activities, local market stalls, and community engagement opportunities.
