The race kicks off at the picturesque Lindsay Recreation Complex, located at 133 Adelaide Street South in Lindsay, Ontario. The morning starts with a flurry of activity as participants gather for their respective races: - The 5K run begins at 8:25 AM - Families and young runners can join the Kids Fun Run (500m) starting at 8:10 AM - For those looking to push themselves, the 10K race commences at 8:00 AM Registration for this exciting event opens on January 31st from 9:00 AM. The registration period will close on July 22nd by 4:00 PM or when all spots are filled. Race day registration is not available, ensuring a seamless and organized experience. The race offers more than just running; participants receive a finisher medal as well as a race-branded memento for the 5K and 10K categories, along with a goodie bag in the Kids Fun Run (500m). Post-race refreshments await all runners to celebrate their efforts. For those looking to team up, there are special team divisions available. Teams of between four to twelve members can compete together in either the 5K or 10K race. The deadline for forming teams is July 1st at 4:00 PM. Team entries cannot be changed after this date, ensuring a fair and organized competition. The event features age categories to cater to runners of all ages: - In the 5K division, participants are grouped into categories from 14 & under up to 70+. - The 10K category includes divisions for those aged 19 & under through 70+.
