The 2026 MAMMUT Mammoth Shenyang Sunset Hill Run Festival is set to take place on September 19 at Qipanshan Scenic Area - Qi Xianchi (located in Hengnan District, Man Tang Street, No. 103 Provincial Road, Qipan Mountain Scenic Spot). The event offers two categories: a 12KM Experience Group and a 17KM Advanced Group.
With an activity scale of 200 participants, registration follows the first-come-first-served principle until capacity is reached.
The 12KM Experience Group covers an actual distance of 12.93 kilometers with a cumulative elevation gain of 898 meters and starts at 1:00 PM. The event concludes after four hours. This route offers gentle terrain, making it suitable for beginners to experience the thrill of mountain running in a scenic setting.
For those looking for more challenge, the 17KM Advanced Group spans an actual distance of 17.8 kilometers with a cumulative elevation gain of 1125 meters and starts at the same time as the Experience Group but has a longer cutoff time of five hours and thirty minutes. This route is designed to test endurance and adaptability in mountain terrain, ideal for runners who have some experience with long-distance running or trail races.
